Tsunami Disaster Relief:

A massive tsunami, the result of an underwater earthquake reaching a magnitude 9.0 in Sumatra has created one of history's largest human disasters.

Some of the hardest hit victims of the tsunami are Sri Lanka, India, Burma, Thailand, Maldives, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Somalia.

Incredibly powerful waves slammed the coasts of more than ten countries killing tens of thousands of people and causing billions of dollars in damage.

The human suffering caused by the tsunami will last for decades. Your help is greatly needed. We've provided links below to the most widely known disaster relief organizations.

President Bush has increased the U.S. commitment from $35 Million to $350 Million, with more money and resources becoming available as the needs of the region become clearer.

This tsunami has caused tragedy that's truly impossible to grasp. The vast territory affected and the huge number of dead, wounded, and missing is staggering. If you can help, your help has never been needed more.
